Kune Kune Pig
Rescued September 6, 2026
2 years old
Birthday: August 1, 2024
Moby and his brother Jerry were purchased from a breeder by an individual that did not want to see them sold for meat. After giving them a home for two years, the rescuer was forced to move, meaning she had to find a new home for her two pigs. Being that they were located only a short drive from our location, we were able to make arrangements to give them a forever home here at Piggins and Banks. Since he originally came to use with a meat-based name (which we do not allow here), Moby was given a new name by Kiri Anderer as part of a pig naming contest, which raised over $1,200 to benefit all our rescue pigs. Moby is the bigger brother, but friendly as can be. He loves pets, attention, and it always sure to let you know when he is ready to be fed with his loud squeals and oinks!
