Bashful is one of seven piglets born to mother pig, Shannon, a pig who was rescued by Deac and Nancy Slocumb (two fellow pig rescuers). The Slocumbs were shocked when one afternoon they discovered Shannon had given birth to a precious litter of piglets (her pregnancy went un-noticed even by a vet)! When we learned about the Slocumb’s “piglet plight” we decided to help and offered to give Shannon and her seven piglets a forever home here at Piggins and Banks.
