These two kunekune boy pigs need a name! Brothers Pig 1 and Pig 2 were purchased from a breeder by an individual that did not want to see them sold for meat. After giving them a home for two years, the rescuer was forced to move, meaning she had to find a new home for these two pigs. Being that they were located only a short drive from our location, we were able to make arrangements to give them a forever home here at Piggins and Banks!
Unfortunately both pigs came to us with meat-based names. Since we do not allow meat-based / or pun names out of respect for our residents, we need YOU to help us give them new names!
We need YOUR help in giving these two brothers a name….so we are holding a contest!
- How do I submit a name? Submit as many pig names as you like using the form below. Each name requires a $5 donation, which is tax-deductible and will go towards supporting the pigs (feed, vet expenses, etc).
- Are there any restrictions? Yes, names CANNOT be the same of any of our other pigs (see our full list of pigs to be sure). Also, names that are inappropriate or puns on meat (Porky, Kevin Bacon, etc) will not be accepted.
- When will the names be chosen? All submitted names will be placed into a basket and a drawing will be held on October 4, 2026 announcing the winners!
- Will I be notified if my name is selected? Winners will be notified via email and sent a small Piggins and Banks gift as a token of our appreciation.
